Health care, education and solidarity, alongside Guatemala's communities.
Four programmes, the same communities

25,592 patients seen in 2024 at Rekko 7 and Rekko 8, for a token fee, or free for those who cannot pay.
How the clinics work
46 children in the Escuelita preschool and 70 scholarships to keep studying until the end of secondary school.
Inside the school
Five years of work for the first thousand days of life: piloted in 2025, running in full from 2026.
The early childhood programme
Community health days with the Ministry of Health, and 20 nursing assistants trained in Yepocapa.
Our work in the communitiesIn San Pedro Yepocapa, more than half the population has not finished primary school.
The Escuelita and the scholarships accompany children from preschool to secondary school, and work to reduce drop-out. In 2025, 72 of the 116 children in the programme had a sponsor; we are looking for 40 more.

I came for three weeks of physiotherapy and found a team treating chronic conditions with what it has and with real judgement. What surprised me most was the relationship with the public health centre: Rekko doesn’t replace it, it complements it.
